EWC Ambassador

Exposed Ambassadors are an accomplished community of ethical storytellers that is composed of conservation-focused photographers and videographers as well as biologists, conservationists and wildlife advocates. Ambassadors harness the power of storytelling through visual mediums to bring awareness to current critical wildlife challenges, solutions, and efforts. Exposed Ambassadors actively contribute to making a positive impact in the treatment of apex predators by assisting Exposed Wildlife Conservancy (EWC) in its conservation efforts. This is accomplished by granting EWC the right to share the photographs and videos of Ambassadors as well as raise awareness of various initiatives across the Ambassador's platforms. In return, Ambassadors are invited to join an exclusive community of conservation-focused photographers and videographers while receiving perks such as discounts on EWC merchandise and features on EWC’s website.

Ambassador Requirements

‍

To become a Verified Ambassador for Exposed Wildlife Conservancy, you must meet the following requirements: 
‍

• You are a photographer or videographer or
• You are a biologist, ecologist, conservationist, or wildlife advocate
• *You have at least 10,000 cumulative followers on either Facebook, Instagram or YouTube
• You are active on at least 2 of EWC’s social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube)
• You are comfortable with EWC sharing your work
• You are knowledgeable about the issues EWC is championing
• You are able to meet and fulfill the requirements and expectations of an Exposed Ambassador
• You agree to adhere to EWC’s Ambassador Guiding Principles of professionalism, ethics, and authenticity as well as Photographer Code of Ethics
• You are committed to providing wildlife with a voice and being an active member in a community of Ambassadors

Please note that each Ambassador must be approved by the EWC team and current Ambassadors prior to being accepted into this program. Meeting the above criteria does not automatically enroll you in this program.  

*Exceptions to this are possible with approval from the EWC team and Ambassadors

Ambassador Expectations

‍
As an Exposed Ambassador, you are committed to the following: 
‍

Subscribe to EWC’s Ambassador Guiding Principles of professionalism, ethics, and authenticity as well as Photographer Code of Ethics
‍

Grant Exposed Wildlife Conservancy the rights to share your photos, videos, and work across our platforms.
‍

• This includes newsletters, websites, social media channels, press releases, outreach materials, etc. 

• Credit will always be given to the Ambassador

Help promote any major campaigns, fundraisers, and initiatives on behalf of Exposed Wildlife Conservancy across your channels and networks
‍

• EWC will provide Ambassadors with approved messaging and information regarding these initiatives on an ongoing basis

For photographers and videographers:
‍

• Submit at least 2 photos and/or videos a month for us to share
• Provide information for at least 2 posts a month that EWC can share on its platforms, such as on Facebook or Instagram, and in its newsletter and blog posts
• Comfortable with providing high resolution photos that we can place on our website
• Provide 1 high resolution photo that can be shared as a wallpaper for Insiders

For biologists, conservationists and wildlife advocates:

• Provide information for at least 2 posts a month that EWC can share on its platforms, such as on Facebook or Instagram, 
• Provide 1 Written Article for the blog our website or newsletter each quarter

You understand and accept that you are a volunteer and will not be paid for your time or contributions made towards EWC

• Your profile will be listed as a Verified Ambassador on our website which links to your portfolio, website, and/or social media channels
• Periodic features in our monthly newsletters
• Access to a community of like-minded individuals
